PRODUCT CARE
Most of the goalkeeper gloves we sell are made from very high quality latex palms and materials, sourced and manufactured to provide the best possible grip in all conditions. Latex is a very soft natural product and as such is subject to wear and tear over time. Just Keepers Ltd and the selected brands that supply the products are not responsible for hand wear.
Before use:
- Rinse the gloves thoroughly before first use with clean, lukewarm water, this process helps remove any contamination from the latex manufacturing or sewing process from the gloves.
- Please note that it may be advisable to wash the gloves several times for maximum performance.
After use:
- After use, wash the gloves with the recommended glove cleaner or mild detergent to remove dirt from the hands and allow the gloves to dry naturally.
- Do not dry the gloves in a hot place or in direct sunlight as this can cause the latex to become brittle and damage the latex.
- DO NOT DRY BY ANY OF THE FOLLOWING PROCESSES:Heater, hair dryer, ventilated cabinet, dryer or direct sunlight.
LATEX CLOTHING
Most latex hands will begin to show signs of wear after first use. This is normal and can be caused by many factors which may include: many variables in the game, eg (goalie's age, technique, playing surface, glove preparation, care instructions followed).
As with all soft latex goalkeeper gloves, the better you take care of them, the longer you will use them.
Abrasion of wetsuits usually occurs when the gloves are in contact with the ground, but they can also be abraded by something as simple as pulling up the socks, even when the gloves are on, as most gloves have a Velcro closure that can be susceptible to latex abrasion .
If your latex is starting to show signs of wear and tear, don't worry! Glove use is normal, that's how latex works, latex is a soft, natural product designed to give you the grip all goalies need and want!
Please note that all goalkeeper gloves provide grip and performance until there is virtually no trace of latex on the hands.
The deterioration will be particularly noticeable at the beginning and end of the season, when the terrain is roughest. If possible, try to avoid the gloves coming into contact with the ground!
Young and inexperienced goalkeepers may also notice rapid deterioration of the foam; this will become less apparent as the individual technique improves.
Most of the gloves we sell are worn by the best goalkeepers in the world who play the highest quality balls on the best surfaces, most of whom use these gloves for a maximum of 6-8 matches. If this is a problem, choose the alternative flat hand style.
If any of the above concerns you, don't buy gloves. If this is a problem, choose firmer hands (not softer latex) which may provide better durability, but be aware that the grip will be much worse.
We always advise you to only use new gloves for matches and an older pair for training/warming up.
The color of most goalie gloves will fade and wear during play, which can and does happen, and this will not affect the performance of the product in any way.
STITCHES:
Great care should be taken when putting on and taking off gloves, especially with light and strapless gloves which are very popular and popular these days, try to take the hand off the gloves and not the gloves off the hand, try to put as little stress as possible on the seams, fingers and thumbs, when removing the hand from the gloves, the stitching can unfortunately begin to deteriorate over time due to general wear and tear, especially between the wrist, thumb and palm. Please note that if the gloves are significantly worn due to seam issues we will not be able to offer a refund or replacement, this is at the discretion of the manufacturer and Just Keeper.
MEDICAL AREA:
Goalkeeper gloves are manufactured and intended for use on soft natural surfaces such as grass, unless stated in the product description (e.g. specialist 3G/astro turf).
Please note that when using goalkeeper gloves on artificial grass such as 3G or astro grass, you put more pressure on them, so nail damage and latex wear will be more noticeable than on grass.
ROLLING FINGERS AND NEGATIVE CUT FOAM HANDS:
As both of the above glove styles are very popular and sought after, we must warn you that the stitched seams and fingers are subjected to enormous stress during training and competition and Just Keepers Ltd will not offer exchanges or refunds for broken seams and damaged foam around areas of stress. Gloves with a "Negative Cut" on the palm will wear faster on the fingertips and thumbs than others due to the way the gloves are sewn. This type of cut gives a much tighter and more natural feel to the toes, but is therefore heavier.
Be especially careful when taking gloves on and off, especially in the rolling finger style, try to take the hand off the gloves, not the gloves off the hand, try to put as little pressure as possible on the seams, fingers and thumbs when removing the hand from the gloves.
IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE ABOVE REMARKS, DO NOT BUY GLOVES OR CONTACT US BEFORE PURCHASE AND WE CAN ASSIST YOU FURTHER
For the production of goalkeeper gloves, Reusch uses only high-quality palm foam. The softer the latex foam, the greater the adhesion, but also the greater susceptibility to wear. For this reason, the warranty right is excluded. Therefore, Just Keepers Ltd is unable to offer a refund or exchange based on the above information from Reusch. ROYAL MAIL INDUSTRIAL IRONING / KRAV
From Thursday 24th November and around the busiest postal time for us and most other retailers which is Black Friday/CyberMonday, there have unfortunately been unprecedented delays in Royal Mail deliveries due to the industrial strike. Since then, there have been a total of 12 strike days below, which are non-working days for the post office, resulting in a server backlog primarily in the sorting, scanning and delivery of mail.
The days of the Royal Mail strike were as follows: Thursday 24th, Friday 25th, Wednesday 30th (November), Thursday 1st, Friday 9th, Sunday 11th, Wednesday 14th ., Thursday 15th, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th (December)
Royal Mail is doing everything in its power to sort out the huge backlog of mail and has ensured that no parcels are lost but just waiting to be scanned due to server backlog and the unprecedented impact of strikes and increased mail in their system. We are currently seeing continued tracking of most shipments since then, but there are still many international shipments where we are seeing delays in scanning and delivery.
It may take up to 30 business days for your shipment to arrive in accordance with our Shipping Terms. Please note that working days do not include weekends, public holidays or strike days.
If your parcel has not been delivered within 30 working days we can claim compensation for a lost parcel with Royal Mail, Refunds for lost parcels (non-delivery) will be issued after 60 working days of complaint, unfortunately we cannot resend any parcels or refund pending clarification of any claims.

Do you wash keeper gloves? ›Wash the gloves with warm water (around 35º) after playing in order to eliminate dirt that decreases the grip properties of the gloves. Do not use aggressive solvents or harsh cleaners. Wash by hand and not in the washing machine. For a perfectly clean glove, additionally use special glove wash.
What soap can I use to wash my goalkeeper gloves? ›You should never use a harsh detergent on the gloves because the chemicals in the detergent might cause the fabric to break down or lose some of the grip. The best soap to use when you are washing goalkeeper gloves is a very gentle all natural soap that doesn't have any chemicals, dyes or perfumes like Rockin' Green.
How do you clean white kid leather gloves? ›Be sure to have a mild soap like Marseille soap or saddle soap. If your gloves have stains, use a white vinegar and water solution (equal parts of each) to remove them. To do this, take a cotton ball coated with the solution and coat your gloves. With a soft microfiber cloth, dab the solution off and allow them to dry.
Can you use Dawn dish soap to wash goalie gloves? ›Wash with a mild low foaming soap free of dies, phosphates, and other harsh chemicals. Dish soap, shampoo, and many hand soaps are too harsh to wash with. Hand washing allows the goalkeeper to gently scrub the dirt and work the all areas of the glove gently with the fingers.
What is a negative cut goalkeeper glove? ›The Negative cut goalkeeper gloves cut is a hybrid style that combines negative and roll finger to produce an even greater level of comfort, fit and feel. The fingers are rolled in the same way any roll finger glove will, but the inside of the palm is stitched much like a negative glove.
What is the history of reusch goalkeeper gloves? ›Specialized in goalkeeper gloves and winter sports gloves, Reusch is one of the world's leading traditional glove brands. Can goalie gloves get wet? ›
Yes, as I already mentioned, keeping your gloves wet will help your grip on the ball. Here at Renegade GK, we use a range of different German Giga Latex on the palms. Some are designed to grip better, whilst others are more durable. However all of them will benefit from keeping the latex wet.
Does putting water on goalie gloves make it sticky? ›For those of us not carrying a Gatorade in our bag and more old-fashioned dousing your gloves with water also livens up the latex material that becomes much tackier when slightly moist. No matter what approach you take don't forget to plan a regular glove washing each week!
How do you wash gloves properly? ›If you don't have saddle soap, you can use a toothbrush to scrub off any grime and dirt first. Then, put the gloves in a bucket of cold water with some laundry detergent or mild soap in it. Rub any additional grime and dirt off with your hands and then rinse the gloves in cold water.
Can you wash gloves with dish soap? ›All you'll need is a mild soap, like dishwashing liquid. Once you've finished washing the dishes or whatever other household chore you've been tending to, rinse the gloves with water to remove any traces of cleaning solutions. Wash the outside of the gloves using the dish soap.

Can be applied before or during the game and is equally effective in wet or dry conditions. All gloveglu products are legal for matchplay use and used by pros and amateurs alike worldwide.
Does hand sanitizer make goalkeeper gloves sticky? ›Repeated exposure to hand sanitizer makes disposable gloves sticky and increases their porosity, which may cause infectious agents to remain on the gloves or come in contact with the skin.
How do you restore dry goalkeeper gloves? ›Place a tiny drop of shoe glue into the site of the tear in the goalkeeper gloves. You do not need any more glue than that. This is because the latex material absorbs any liquids quickly. If you place too much of the glue into the tear, this will cause the region around the tear to start to harden.
What solution to clean white leather? ›Mix a Cleaning Solution
One part Castile soap with eight parts lukewarm water. Two parts distilled white vinegar and one part linseed oil or olive oil.
What is the hack for cleaning white leather? ›
To Clean White Leather
Try one of these two methods: Oil + Vinegar: Mix 1/2 cup olive oil with 1/4 cup of vinegar in a spray bottle. Spritz on the stain, let sit for five minutes and wipe. Whatever you do, avoid bleach or ammonia-based cleaners as they can damage the leather.
Wash the gloves using cold water and use a small amount of bleach to bring out the whiteness in the gloves. It is best to wash the gloves by themselves. Washing gloves with other clothing increases the chance you might lose a glove or damage them.
Does Dawn dish soap sterilize? ›Like hand soap, dish soap does not kill bacteria, but it lifts them off surfaces so that they can be washed away by water.
Can you use Dawn on leather gloves? ›Add about two tablespoons of Dawn dish soap and give it a stir. Put your gloves on before getting them wet and, using the extra tablespoon of soap, rub them together (as if you are washing your hands). This helps to loosen and scrub away any surface dirt and grime.
How many games should goalkeeper gloves last? ›A glove designed for games will last on average 12 –14 games before they have to be converted to the practice ranks. Some keepers get more than a season but that depends on how well the keeper cares for the gloves, their diving technique, the amount of stress the gloves are under, and playing surface.
Should goalkeeper gloves be tight or loose? ›Tip: You do not want your gloves too tight and touching the very tips of the fingers, nor do you want too much excess space causing it to feel "floppy". A glove that is too tight could tear/rip easier and a glove too spacious won't instill confidence.
What is the most common goalkeeper injury? ›Finger, Wrist and Forearm Injuries
Injuries to their fingers are one of the most common ways soccer goalies are hurt. The most frequent injury happens as a result of the ball hitting the fingers and forcing them to jam or bend incorrectly.
